ID notes: A local variety of the common and widespread Solanum caroliniense, var. floridanum has deeply lobed leaves and a rounded leaf apex. It occurs notably in the watersheds of the Apalachicola, Aucilla, and Suwanee rivers in FL and GA, but also along the Atlantic Coast of GA and se. SC.
