Hab: Dry to dry-mesic slopes, in NC under Quercus coccinea and Kalmia latifolia. Dist: Centered in the Ozarks of sw. MO, nw. AR, and e. OK; disjunct eastward at scattered localities in sc. KY, nc. TN, sw. NC, and s. MS.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Other Comments: Petals white to pink.
