Polypremum procumbens Linnaeus. Polypremum, Rustweed, Juniperleaf. Phen: Late May-Nov; Aug-Dec. Hab: Dunes, longleaf pine sandhills, pine flatwoods, pond margins, fields, pastures, roadsides, riverside sand bars, disturbed areas. Dist: Se. NY, NJ, and MO south to FL and TX, south into Mexico, Central America, and South America; West Indies.
