Trillium ludovicianum Harbison. Subgenus: Sessilia. Louisiana Wake-robin. Phen: Early Mar-Apr. Hab: Floodplains, streambanks, ravine forests. Dist: MS west to e. TX. Reports of this species for AL are based on specimens of Trillium species 3.

ID notes: Often confused with narrow-petaled plants of Trillium cuneatum.
