Collinsonia tuberosa Michaux. Stoneroot. Phen: Late Jul-Sep; Sep-Oct. Hab: Rich forests, over calcareous or mafic substrates. Dist: C. NC west to c. TN, south to n. GA, MS, and LA.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Other Comments: Peirson, Cantino, & Ballard (2006) conclude that C. tuberosa should be merged into C. canadensis, a conclusion not followed here.
