Flowers: Flowers in small axillary heads (middle and upper stem). Each flower white, less than ¼ in. long, consisting of a short-tubular corolla with 4 lobes, a light green calyx with 4--5 narrow lobes, 2 slightly protruding stamens and a pistil.
Fruits: Fruit a set of 4 nutlets forming a square inside the persistent calyx; calyx lobes exceed the nutlets.
