Physostegia intermedia (Nuttall) Engelmann & A. Gray. Slender Dragonhead, Slender Obedient-plant. Phen: Apr-Oct. Hab: Swamps, moist forests, ditches. Dist: IL, KY, AR, and LA west to OK and TX. Also mapped as widespread in Coastal Plain of GA (Jones & Coile 1988); presumably an error.
