Origin/Endemic status: Native

Taxonomy Comments: A tetraploid species (n = 40).

Synonymy: = Ar, C, F, G, GrPl, GW2, Il, K1, K3, K4, Mi, NY, Pa, RAB, Tat, Tn, Va, W, Chambers & Hamer (1992), Grant & Epling (1943); = Koellia virginiana (L.) MacMill. – S
