Stachys nuttallii Shuttleworth ex Bentham. Nuttall’s Hedge-nettle. Phen: Jun-Aug; Sep-Oct. Hab: Moist forests, especially alluvial bottomlands or over calcareous rocks. Dist: {distribution} Primarily montane, but extending east to Stokes County, North Carolina.
