not marked as a favorite taxon *Glossostigma cleistanthum W.R. Barker. Common name: Mudmat. Phenology: Jul-Sep. Habitat: Aquatic in oligotrophic lakes, reservoirs, and stormwater retention ponds. Distribution: Native of Australia. Introduced, naturalized, and invasive in NJ, PA, CT, and RI (Les, Capers, & Tippery 2006).
