Aureolaria patula (Chapman) Pennell. Common name: Cumberland Oak-leech. Phenology: Aug-Oct; Sep-Oct. Habitat: Calcareous ledges, and bluffs, rich alluvial forests. Distribution: C. KY south through TN to nw. GA, and approaching w. NC and sw. VA.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Synonymy : = C, FNA17, G, K4, S, Tn, Pennell (1935); = Dasystoma patula Chapm.; = Gerardia patula (Chapm.) A.Gray. Basionym: Dasystoma patulum Chapm. 1878
