Dyschoriste oblongifolia (Michaux) Kuntze. Blue Twinflower, Pineland Dyschoriste. Phen: Apr-May. Hab: Pine savannas, pine flatwoods, and longleaf pine sandhills. Dist: SC to s. FL, west to se. AL and e. Panhandle FL. The basis of Small's (1933) attribution of this species to VA is unknown.
