Trillium erectum Linnaeus var. album (Michaux) Pursh. White-flowered Red Trillium. Phen: Apr-early Jun; Jul-Aug. Hab: Wooded slopes, usually at low elevations. Dist: Distribution poorly understood, but especially common in and around Great Smoky Mountains National Park, NC and TN.
