Hab: Prairies, sandstone glades, granite flatrocks, Altamaha Grit glades, and roadbanks. Dist: W. LA west to e. TX; disjunct eastward in Mountains of ne. AL, Piedmont of c. GA, and Coastal Plain of s. AL, ec. GA (Jones & Coile 1988, Bridges & Orzell 1989), Panhandle FL (Washington County), and wc. peninsular FL (Pinellas County).
