*Emilia fosbergii D.H. Nicolson. Common name: Salmon Tasselflower, Cupid’s-shaving-brush. Phenology: Jan-Dec. Habitat: Disturbed areas, flower beds, landscaping. Distribution: Native of Old World tropics. Scattered as an introduction in FL, including the Panhandle; reported for Lowndes County, GA (Carter, Baker, & Morris 2009). Nelson & Kelly (1997) reported E. sonchifolia, but actually based on specimens of E. fosbergii.
