Eupatorium compositifolium Walter. Coastal Dog-fennel, Yankeeweed. Phen: Sep-Dec. Hab: Longleaf pine sandhills, sandy disturbed areas, exposed riverbanks and drawdown zones. Dist: Ne. NC south to s. FL, west to se. OK and TX.

Other Comments: This species, like E. capillifolium, is an excellent indicator of soil disturbance.
