Eurybia paludosa (Aiton) Nesom. Subgenus: Heleastrum. Section: Heleastrum. Savanna Grass-leaved Aster. Phen: Jul-Oct. Hab: Wet pine savannas, hillside seepage bogs, longleaf pine sandhill / pocosin ecotones. Dist: An Atlantic Coastal Plain endemic: ne. NC south to se. GA and ne. FL (Nassau County).

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Taxonomy Comments: A tetraploid species (2n=36).

Synonymy: = Fl7, FNA20, K1, K3, K4, WH3, Nesom (1994b); = Aster paludosus Aiton – C, GW2, RAB, SE1; = Aster paludosus Aiton ssp. paludosus – G
