Eurybia spectabilis (Aiton) Nesom. Low Showy Aster. Phen: Aug-Oct. Hab: Pine barrens, dry road banks. Dist: Coastal Plain (and rarely adjacent provinces) from MA south to SC; disjunct in AL.

Other Comments: An octoploid species (2n=72).
