Iva frutescens Linnaeus var. frutescens . Southern Maritime Marsh-elder. Phen: Late Aug-Nov. Hab: Brackish marshes and marsh edges, normally on the back side of barrier islands. Dist: NJ south to s. FL, west to e. and se. TX.
