Liatris pauciflora Pursh. Few-flower Blazing-star. Phen: Aug-Oct. Hab: Xeric sands of Florida scrub, longleaf pine sandhills. Dist: GA (Tatnall Co.) south to c. peninsular FL; alleged by Small (1933) to extend to SC.
