Dist: Ne. NC south to s. FL, west to se. TX (Brown & Marcus 1998); disjunct inland on calcareous or mafic rocks in nc. NC, nc. SC, n. GA, n. AL, c. and e. TN, sc. MO, and nc. AR; also in the Bahamas, Cuba, and Jamaica.
