Ludwigia pilosa Walter. Section: Isnardia. Hairy Seedbox. Phen: Jun-Oct. Hab: Swamps, ditches, blackwater streams, other wet places. Dist: Se. VA south to n. FL, west to se. TX, restricted to the Coastal Plain except for disjunct occurrences inland in NC, VA, and n. AL.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Taxonomy Comments: This species is tetraploid (n= 16).
