Solidago radula Nuttall. Subgenus: Pleiactila. Section: Unilaterales. Subsection: Radulae. Rough Goldenrod. Phen: Aug-Oct. Hab: Calcareous prairies, dry woodlands, bluffs, glades, and barrens over mafic or calcareous rocks. Dist: IL west to KS, south to LA and TX; disjunct eastward in KY, NC, SC, GA, and AL.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Taxonomy Comments: The species is diploid, 2n=18.
