Dasiphora Rafinesque. Subfamily: Rosoideae. Tribe: Potentilleae. Subtribe: Fragariinae. Shrubby-cinquefoil.

A genus of about 12-15 species, shrubs, of Asia and North America. Molecular phylogenetic studies indicate that this genus is more closely related to Alchemilla, Aphanes, Drymocallis, Fragaria, Sibbaldia, and other genera outside our area than to Potentilla (Eriksson et al. 2003).
