Symphyotrichum chapmanii (Torrey & A. Gray) Semple & Brouillet. Chapman's Aster. Phen: Late Apr-Jun. Hab: Pine flatwoods and seepage bogs. Dist: Endemic to Panhandle FL and s. AL; reports from Alachua County in the n. peninsula and St. Lucie County much farther south appear to be correctly identified.
