Key to Krameria

A genus of 15-18 species, herbs and shrubs (to small trees), hemiparasitic by haustoria. of s. North America to South America and West Indies.

ID notes: The unique zygomorphic flowers of this genus are difficult to confuse with other genera. Flowers consist of 3 upper, connate, clawed petals with the two lower petals sessile. The stamens are inserted on the base of the 3 connate petaloid claws.
