Malvaviscus Fabricius. Subfamily: Malvoideae. Wax-mallow.
A genus of 3-4 species, herbs, of tropical and subtropical areas. Perhaps better included in a broadly circumscribed Hibiscus (Pfeil & Crisp 2005).
