Oclemena E.L. Greene. Aster, Nodding-aster.

Key to Oclemena

A genus of 3 species, perennial herbs, of e. North America. There now appears to be strong evidence (morphologic and molecular) and something approaching a consensus for the recognition of Oclemena as distinct from Aster. It appears that Oclemena is most closely related to Ionactis, and that these two genera are more closely related to Solidago and Heterotheca than to Aster (in a narrower sense).
