Pseudoziziphus Hauenschild.

A genus of 2 species, shrubs, of sw. United States and n. Mexico and c. FL. Pseudoziziphus is sister to Condalia (from which it differs in significant morphological characters) and not at all closely related to Old World Ziziphus or New World Sarcomphalus (often formerly also treated in Ziziphus) (Hauenschild et al. 2016a).
