Abelia ×grandiflora (André) Rehder. Abelia. Hab: Suburban thickets, commonly planted in our area, sometimes persistent or rarely weakly naturalizing. Dist: Horticultural hybrid of A. chinensis and A. uniflora (the parent species native of China). Reported for AL (Diamond & Woods 2009). Reported for Arkansas (Serviss & Peck 2019).
