Hydrocharitaceae A.L. de Jussieu. Frog's-bit Family.

Key to Hydrocharitaceae

A family of about 18 genera and 120 species, aquatic herbs, cosmopolitan. Here circumscribed to include Najas, often traditionally placed in its own family, following the suggestion of Haynes, Holm-Nielsen, & Les in Kubitzki (1998b), APG (2016), and Bernardini & Lucchese (2018). Subfamilies shown in the key follow Les, Moody, & Soros (2006) and are congruent with the phylogeny of Bernardini & Lucchese (2018).
