*Hedera hibernica (G. Kirchner) Carrière. Atlantic Ivy, Irish Ivy. Phen: Jun-Jul. Hab: Persistent, established, and spreading around old home sites, in suburban woodlands and waste areas. Dist: Native of Europe.

Origin/Endemic status: Europe

Taxonomy Comments: H. hibernica is tetraploid, n = 48. This species was apparently widely planted later than H. helix.
