Scutellaria elliptica Muhlenberg var. glandulosa J.L. Collins ex D.B. Poindexter. Ozark Skullcap. Phen: Early May-late Jun. Hab: Dry to moist, rocky forests. Dist: E. and c. MO and e. KS south to sc. AR and se. OK.

ID notes:Scutellaria elliptica can be confused with S. ovata; S. ovata has all leaves cordate, while S. elliptica only the lowermost are cordate.
