Phemeranthus piedmontanus S. Ware. Piedmont Rock-pink. Phen: (Jun-) Jul-Sep. Hab: In periodic seepage on mafic or ultramafic rocks. Dist: This taxon was discovered at a diabase glade in Granville County, NC and ultramafic barrens in Franklin County, VA, floristically rich in other species of disjunct and relict distribution.
