*Aegopodium podagraria Linnaeus. Common name: Goutweed. Phenology: May-Aug; Jul-Sep. Habitat: Disturbed areas. Distribution: Native of Europe.
ID notes: The cultivated forms encountered in our region as escapes are often those with white-margined or variegated leaves. These are sometimes accorded taxonomic status as var. variegatum L.H. Bailey, but are merely a form or cultivar.
