Phlox oklahomensis Wherry. Prairie-star Phlox, Oklahoma Phlox. Phen: Apr-May. Hab: Post oak woodlands. Dist: S. KS to nc. TX. "Known from a 1958 collection from oak woodland 4 miles E of Garland, Dallas County (Taylor & Taylor, 1980; Tyrl et al., 1978)" (Carr 2016).

Origin/Endemic status: Native
