*Isolepis cernua (Vahl) Roemer & J.A. Schultes var. cernua . Phen: Apr-Sep. Hab: Moist sandy soils. TX; Pacific coast of North America. The populations in TX were only relatively recently discovered (1974); it is uncertain if the species is native or introduced in the state, but given the wide distribution and weedy nature of the species, it is plausible that they are native but previously overlooked.
