Anthriscus sylvestris (Linnaeus) Hoffmann ssp. sylvestris . Wild Chervil, Cow-parsley. Phen: May-Jul. Hab: Moist disturbed areas. Dist: Native of Eurasia. This species has also been reported from the NC-TN state line, on Roan Mountain (Mellichamp, Matthews, & Smithka 1987, 1988); the population is actually entirely in TN.
