Wisteria frutescens (Linnaeus) Poiret var. frutescens. Common name: Atlantic Wisteria, American Wisteria, Swamp Wisteria. Phenology: Apr-May; Jun-Sep. Habitat: Swamp forests, wet thickets. Distribution: E. VA south to n. peninsular FL, west to TX, north in the interior to AR.
