Rhododendron smokianum Ralf Bauer & Albach. Great Smoky Mountain Rhododendron. Hab: Heath balds, heath slicks, high to medium elevation forests and woodlands. Dist: Endemic to high and middle elevations of the Great Smoky Mountains.
