Amelanchier amabilis Wiegand. Lovely Shadbush. Phen: May-early Jun; Aug. Hab: Rocky, calcareous forests. Dist: QC and ON south to NY, nc. PA (?), and ne. OH. Shown as occurring in Tioga County, PA (Kartesz 2022), which needs substantiation; however, it has been confirmed in the adjacent portions of New York's southern tier in Chemung and Steuben counties (Werier et al. 2022).
