Crataegus ×brazoria Sargent (pro sp.). Brazos River Hawthorn. Phen: Mar-Apr; Sep-Oct. Hab: Stream bottoms, brushy uplands, blackland prairies. Dist: E. TX (Brazoria and Matagorda counties) (Carr 2016).

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Taxonomy Comments: The sporadic and localized populations of this taxon may include individuals showing variation from the typical yellow fruit color and near-unlobed leaves, suggesting intraserial intermediacy with other sympatric members of the Molles group.
