Crataegus ×incaedua Sargent. Uncut Hawthorn. Phen: Apr; Sep-Oct. Hab: Moist woodlands, streamsides, rocky basins, openings. Dist: IN, KY w. to MO, AR.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Taxonomy Comments: Assumed to be of interserial hybrid origin involving C. collina and perhaps C. crus-galli or C. calpodendron, the latter suggested by Palmer (1950), but flowering phenology is distant in these two species and the pyrenes of C. ×incaedua show no concavities typically expected as an inherited trait from C. calpodendron.

Synonymy: = F, FNA9, Lance (2014); = n/a – Il
