Crataegus ×verruculosa Sargent. Warty Hawthorn. Phen: Mar-Apr; Aug-Oct. Hab: Forest edges, streamsides, pastures, scrubland. Dist: S. MO, possibly n. AR.

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Taxonomy Comments: This is an assumed hybrid originating from a form of C. crus-galli and C. collina. Similar is the entity C. ×collicola, but slightly differing morphology between these taxa may reflect different genotypes involved in the parental combination.
