Paronychia lundelliorum B.L. Turner. Lundells' Nailwort. Phen: Apr-Oct (-Mar). Hab: "In tight sandy soils over saline clay on microhighs within salty prairie grasslands dominated by Spartina spartinae and in upper portions of saline flats surrounding short drainages and brackish basins typical of the South Texas Sand Sheet" (Poole, Carr, & Price 2007). Dist: Endemic to s. TX (Brooks, Kenedy, and Kleberg counties).

Origin/Endemic status: Endemic

Taxonomy Comments: This species was named by Turner (1983) but dismissed by Hartman, Thieret, & Rabeler (2005), though they did state that "further study of the allopatric populations named P. lundellorum is warranted". Additional study is indeed needed, and the taxon is here provisionally accepted. The epithet is necessarily corrected under provisions of the Code to 'lundelliorum' from the published 'lundellorum'.

Synonymy: = Paronychia lundellorum – Turner (1983), orthographic variant; < Paronychia setacea Torr. & A.Gray – FNA5, K4
