Ipomoea grandifolia (Dammer) O'Donnell. Phen: Jul-Dec. Hab: Disturbed areas. Dist: South America (Argentina, Paraguay, Bolivia, and Brazil); also in se. North America, the distribution poorly understood because of previous lack of recognition.

Origin/Endemic status: Native

Taxonomy Comments: See Liao et al. (2022) and Duncan & Rausher (2013) for additional information. This species (as it manifests itself in se. United States) was initially referred to as "Ipomoea austinii", a preoccupied name.
