*Morus indica Linnaeus. Common name: Korean Mulberry. Habitat: Fencerows, suburban areas, disturbed areas. Distribution: Native of e. Asia. Reported by Barger et al. (2023) as being well-established in Alabama, and likely widespread in the Southeast, but overlooked because not distinguished from M. alba.
ID notes: Leaf characters used to separate this taxon from M. alba should be tested further due to wide leaf morphology in each species.

Taxonomy Comments: The taxonomy of this and Morus alba remain uncertain.
