*Laportea aestuans (Linnaeus) Chew. West Indian Wood-nettle. Hab: Waste ground and agricultural areas (e.g. tree farms). Dist: Pretty regular in Miami. Reported for scattered sites in the se. US (Kartesz 2010).

Origin/Endemic status: Neotropics
