*Tephrosia cinerea (Linnaeus) Persoon. Common name: Ashen Hoary-pea. Habitat: Disturbed areas, presumably only a waif. Distribution: Native from Mexico to South America and the West Indies. Reported from a 19th century ballast collection from Mobile, AL.

Origin/Endemic status: South America

Synonymy : = Bah, FNA11.1, K4, NS, POWO, SE3, Isely (1998), Shinners (1962k); Galega cinerea L. = Cracca cinerea (L.) Morong — S. Basionym: Galega cinerea L. 1759
