Crataegus florens Beadle. Common name: Mississippi Hawthorn. Phenology: Mar-Apr; Aug-Sep. Habitat: Pine and pine-oak forests, subxeric to mesic habitats with sandy or clay soils. Distribution: E. NC south to n. FL, west to LA.
